The daylight XPT from Sydney to Melbourne slows for a station stop at the border town of Albury, once the break of gauge station between the New South Wales and Victorian networks.

Recently refurbished XP 2018 shutdown adjacent to Platform Two at Roma Street around 23:00 after failing at Loadstone on the QLD/NSW border.

The Brisbane XPT failed at Loadstone today on its return journey to Sydney and the train limped back to Roma Street. At 23:00, XP 2018/2015 were photographed online adjacent to Platform Two.
